Body of Deceit
Alice (Kristanna Loken, TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES) is a ghostwriter for a famous best-selling author. Following a year from the fateful night where she was involved in a terrible car accident that left her in a coma for two weeks, she has been struggling with depression and recurring nightmares that have led her to writer’s block and heavy drinking. Alice’s husband Max (Antonio Cupo) convinces her to rest in Malta—where she suffered her accident—and stay at the family villa in hopes of clearing her mind and finishing her new book. In the villa, Alice quickly forms a friendship with the stunning maid, Sara (Sarai Givaty). It doesn’t take long before they form an intimate relationship and Alice feels alive again and ready to resume her writing. But things take a turn for the worse after Max tells Alice that they must return to the States and she confesses about her affair with Sara. An outraged Max leaves. Feeling guilty, Alice tracks down Max in a hotel, but to her surprise he is not alone. He is in bed with none other than Sara. Meanwhile, Detective Castellano (Giulio Berruti), who had been investigating Alice’s car ‘accident’ discovers that Max was behind this disaster. Alice must now face her husband and lover in an epic showdown ending involving the love triangle. The erotic thriller is based on Jean Genet’s acclaimed play LES BONNES.
